WEEKDAY
SCHEDULE The FibroFOCUS™ Weekday program is three days a week for eight consecutive weeks. It is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 10AM to 3PM. The program delivers care in an online group format with Zoom videoconferencing.

PHYSICAL
EXAMINATION Optional: All participants are invited to an in-person assessment with Dr. John Xavier Pereira at Momentum Health Seton in Calgary. Not all participants chose to have a physical exam, or are able to travel to South Calgary for this.

PROGRAM
CONTENT Group sessions discuss fibromyalgia, chronic pain, the stress response, inflammation, the anti-inflammatory diet, activity, and sleep. The FibroFOCUS™ Weekday program includes the Stress Management and Resiliency Training (SMART) workbook from the Benson-Henry Institute.

TECHNOLOGY
REQUIREMENTS Participants must have high-speed internet access to join the live video sessions on Zoom. FibroFOCUS™ lends participants a Fitbit® activity tracker and HeartMath® biofeedback sensor, and participants must already have a smartphone to use these devices.

MEET THE
CO-PRESENTERS All group sessions will be presented and facilitated on Zoom by Dr. John Xavier Pereira. The FibroFOCUS™ Weekday program has co-presenters who will play a role in selected sessions, based on their specialty and areas of expertise.

ASHLEY CHAPMAN
PHYSIOTHERAPIST Ashley completed her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011. She has advanced training in Pelvic Health and Manual Therapy, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapy.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST Jessica completed both a Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, with distinction, and a Masters Degree in Applied Breathing Sciences. She a winner of the Pinnacle Award of Excellence from Physiotherapy Alberta.

DIANE ROYLANCE
PHYSIOTHERAPIST Diane is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists and has practiced physiotherapy for 26 years in the areas of orthopedics and complex pain. She is a winner of the Award For Excellence In Innovation from Physiotherapy Alberta.

SHANNON ROGERS
CLINICAL EXERCISE
PHYSIOLOGIST Shannon holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary. She is an experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist who specializes in chronic pain, headache management, and clinical exercise prescription.

MICHELLE DELISLE
PSYCHOLOGIST Michelle obtained her PhD from Queens University, and has been practicing as a clinical psychologist in the field of chronic pain since 2009. She has co-authored research articles and book chapters on a wide range of topics in psychology, and uses therapy techniques grounded in science.

JOHN PEREIRA
PHYSICIAN John is the Medical Director of FibroFOCUS™. He is the 20th and current President of the Canadian Pain Society, and was a founding Co-Chair of the Alberta Pain Strategy. He represented Western Canada on the committee who wrote our national guidelines for the treatment of fibromyalgia.
